☠ THE HYBRID SIGNAL ARCHITECTURE
Purity in sound design is an illusion. My production methodology operates on a dual-axis pipeline: Software as the infinite sound design canvas, and discrete analog iron for raw saturation and grit.
In the virtual domain, modular environments like Cardinal and Cherry Audio Voltage Modular provide infinite routing capability without physical cable degradation. Complex generative trigger networks, sub-audio clock dividers, and quad-LFO cross-modulations are architected entirely in code with instantaneous state recall.
When harmonic aggression and non-linear distortion are required, stems leave the digital converter to meet physical circuits: overdriving the 24dB ladder filter of the Behringer Model D, engaging the aggressive dual-resonance filtering of the Behringer Wasp, and firing 5-pin DIN sync pulses into 19-inch steel rack modules and tabletop hardware units.
